2. About ECU Scholar

ECU Scholar is an independent student-built mobile application designed to help Egyptian Chinese University (ECU) students access their academic schedules, grades, and university information in a convenient, organized format. ECU Scholar is not an official product of Egyptian Chinese University.

3. Eligibility

The App is intended for use by currently enrolled students at Egyptian Chinese University. By using the App, you confirm that you are an ECU student and that the university credentials you provide belong to you.

4. Your Account & Credentials

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your university login credentials.
• You must not share your credentials with others or allow others to access your account through the App.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your use of the App.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or tamper with the App
• Use the App to access or attempt to access another student's data
• Overload or disrupt the university's systems through excessive use of the App
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

6. Data Accuracy

ECU Scholar retrieves data directly from the university's Student Information System (SIS). While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that schedules, grades, or other information displayed are always up to date or error-free. Always verify critical information through official university channels.

7. Availability

The App is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Service may be affected by changes to the university's systems, maintenance periods, or other factors outside our control.

8. Intellectual Property

All design, branding, and original content within ECU Scholar is the property of the developer. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the App without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

ECU Scholar is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any academic, administrative, or other consequences resulting from reliance on information displayed in the App.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
